As you all hopefully know, PDX Pop Now! will be returning to Rotture (320 SE 2nd Ave) on July 24th, 25th and 26th for the free, all-ages festival that showcases Portland’s diverse musical talent.
Major thanks to everyone who submitted requests and to our booking volunteers who put together what we think will be an awesome festival.

One of Portland’s most inspiring events is back, and it deserves all of our support. Music In The Schools – an organization founded and run by high school students from across Portland – is presenting their third annual benefit concert on Thursday, June 11. The funds raised will go to Portland Public Schools music programs. This is a hat trick, folks; by coming to the show you are supporting music education, local music, and youth action. Oh, and did we mention who is playing? Some big name Portlanders, and some rising, young local high school bands. Have a look:

Well the 2009 PDX Pop Now! season is now going full steam ahead. With an incredibly successful comp release show behind us, we’re now working hard and getting excited for the upcoming City Hall show and the 2009 PDX Pop Now! festival in July.
